As we head into the fall season, these are definitely some festivals and events you will enjoy in St. Augustine. Whether you want to get in the festive spirit at the Sykes Family Corn Maze or eat some delicious grub in celebration of our favorite foodie events, you'll love it here in fall. While we might not have crunching leaves and fall foliage, but our temperatures are just about perfect, there are fewer crowds, and there's so much to do. Sykes Family Farm Corn Maze

Dates: October 5 – 27, 2024

The Sykes Family Farms Maze is fun for all ages. The maze is 9 acres total which consists of 4 phases. At the entrance of the maze you have the option to fill out a “passport” – a 10 question form that will help guide you through the maze.

Phase 1 and 2 take around 15-30 minutes to navigate with Phase 1 being slightly shorter for the directionally challenged. Phase 3 and 4 are the “kiddie” mazes featuring the story of Jack and The Cornstalk and The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin on large story boards. These phases take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on whether or not you read the story.

Maze Hours:

  • Friday: 6pm to 10pm
  • Saturday: 10am to 10pm
  • Sunday: 10am to 5pm

*Last ticket sold 1 hour prior to closing

Admission Prices:

  • Children 2 and under: FREE
  • General Admission (ages 3 to 64): $18
  • Senior Citizens (65+): $16
  • Military (w/ID): $16

Admission tickets include the following attractions: 9 Acre Maze, Play Area, Animals, Cow Milking, Hayride, and more. Pumpkins, Sunflowers, and any other items from the pumpkin barn sold separately.

Accessibility: The maze and maze grounds are generally wheelchair friendly. But just in case, check with them before your visit to get up to date conditions.

Location: just 10 miles west of St. Augustine in Elkton, Florida. Head toward Hastings on SR 207 for about 5 miles. They are located on the right and you can’t miss it!

Greek Festival to Go!

Dates: Friday - Saturday, October 11 - 12, 2024

The Annual Greek Festival to Go! will be an alternative to the annual festival at Francis Field. Get all the same delicious,  Greek food you would at the traditional event, but this time it will be available for online ordering and contactless pickup, due to the health precautions made necessary by the coronavirus pandemic.

This year, the Festival will offer favorite Greek dishes for online ordering and contactless pickup at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 2940 Co Rd 214. The online menu will be available beginning in September. Pickups will be scheduled for Friday and Saturday, October 9 and 10, 2020.

St. Benedict Blues Festival

The St. Benedict the Moor Blues Festival will take place at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church from Friday, October 18 to Sunday, October 20, 2024, offering a weekend full of live blues music, delicious Southern cuisine, and community spirit. The festival is a fundraiser for the restoration of the historic church in Lincolnville, St. Augustine.

Admission:

  • Friday, October 18: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm – $5
  • Saturday, October 19: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm – $5
  • Sunday, October 20: 11:00 am – 3:30 pm – $5
  • Children 15 & Under – FREE

Each day features a variety of blues performances and a selection of Southern dishes, including barbecue ribs, seafood gumbo, and fried fish sandwiches. Sunday’s Gospel Brunch will offer a special menu and live gospel music​(
